Pastor Nyabenda is a true server of the almighty God! See him as the spirit of God worked on him after he has baptized some of the members of his church. You are also welcome to further read the biography of the pastor.

 

 

Pastor Nazaira Nyabenda was born on 05.12.1972 in Burundi. He is faithfully married to his wife Annette and with her he has five children. As a baby, instabiliyty in Burundi because of war forced his parents to move with him to Tanzania, Katumba where he started going to school. However, as a youth, he decided to go back to Burundi to continue with his schooling at Kabonga Primary School in Nyanza. In the year 1992, he passed his national exams as a student at the Mabanda Videregående.

 

Pastor Nyabenba later went back to Tanzania where he was called by the almighty God in the year 2000. God said to him "Oh my son, stop going to war and be a fisher of men". Since then, Pastor Nyabenda was inspired by these soothing words which motivated him to study the bible in Tanzania. During his bible study course, pastor was taught how to be a man of God. The book called "Fimbo ya mchungaji" helped a lot to shape him as a man of God.

 

In Tanzania, from 1999-2001, he worked as a swahili-english teacher for adults. From 2001-2003, he worked at the Muyovozi hospital in the health information team. In the year 2003, he came with his family to Norway and started to integrate himself by learning the norwegian language and the new norwegian costoms. Pastor Nyabenda was fast to use his multi-language talent in Norway, Karmøy Kommune to work as a translator of kiswahil and french translator by translationg from these languages into norwegian and vice versa. In the year 2005-2006, he continued with his education in Norway by going to school at Haugaland where he studied general courses to make him competent to further his studies (almennfag - studikompetanse).

 

From 2008 til now, Pastor Nyabenda is working as an "isolatø/kapsiling" at Kårstø. He works from mondag to friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM but still Pastor Nyabenda is dedicating his energy and time to serve God as a pastor at Norway Revival Church where he is a senior pastor. His working schedule at "Kontor Pastolal" is Monday 18:00-21:00 and on sartuday-sunday 10-16.
